Machines
Transporting woodworking machinery
Woodworking machines often stand in joineries and workshops with narrow access and low doors. Besides dimensions and weight, what matters most here is how the machine gets out of the workshop and to the set-down point at the customer.
What matters
- Workshop access
- Narrow yards and small doors decide whether an articulated truck or a smaller vehicle fits.
- Extraction
- Extraction hoods and duct connections are removed or secured; chips and dust are cleaned off.
- Tables and units
- Extensions, consoles and drilling units change the transport width. What is removed should be clear beforehand.
- Vacuum technology
- Vacuum pumps and console tables of CNC routers are separate parts.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Which machine is it – CNC router, planer, sander?
- What are access and door height at collection and destination?
- Which attachments will be removed?
- Is there a vacuum pump or extraction unit that travels along?
- Who loads in the workshop?
What we need from you
- Machine type, manufacturer and weight
- Dimensions in transport position
- Photos of access and door
- List of attachments
Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.
What we do for you
What we organise
- Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
- Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
- One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site
Good to know
Once extraction and units are removed, we load quickly – units travel protected as separate packages.
How it works
- 01
Request
You send route, date and machine details using the form below – anything unknown can stay open.
- 02
Review
Using the photos we check which vehicle can reach the site and clarify loading in the workshop.
- 03
Quote
You receive a quote with the agreed scope – on request including loading and crane organisation.
- 04
Execution
Collection with a suitable vehicle, loading as agreed, transport and handover at the set-down point.
Questions and answers: Woodworking machinery
What if an articulated truck cannot reach the workshop?
Then, based on your photos, we choose a smaller vehicle or a different handover point. That is why we ask early about access, bends and door height.
Does extraction have to be disconnected before transport?
Yes. Extraction hoods and duct connections are removed or secured, chips and dust cleaned off – by your company before collection.
Does the vacuum pump of a CNC router travel along?
Usually as a separate part. It belongs in the request with dimensions and weight.
