Machinery transport within Germany

Within Germany there is no customs or border paperwork. Planning therefore focuses entirely on the machine itself, on dates and on the loading situation at both sites – from the industrial estate to the workshop in a mixed-use area.

What matters

No border formalities
Neither export nor import declarations are needed. A delivery note and your machine details are usually sufficient.
Sundays and public holidays
Heavy trucks are generally banned from driving on Sundays and public holidays. Weekend dates have to take this into account.
Delivery hours
Industrial estates and plants often have fixed receiving hours. We agree the time window with the recipient.
Short distance, same preparation
Even for a few kilometres the machine must be ready for transport and secured.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Between which locations should the machine be transported?
  2. Are there fixed receiving hours at collection or destination?
  3. Should the transport take place on a weekend or around a public holiday?
  4. Who loads and unloads – available on site or organised by us?

What we need from you

  • Postcode and town of both sites
  • Preferred date or period
  • Dimensions and weight of the machine
  • Loading situation at both sites

Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.
