Used machinery transport – from seller to buyer

With a used machine, two sites meet that often do not know each other: the seller with their hall and the buyer with theirs. We bring both sides into one transport plan – including loading and unloading on request.

What matters

Condition on site
Whether the machine is already dismantled and secured determines the collection date. If it is still connected, the seller's or buyer's dismantling service has to come first.
Second-hand data
Dimensions and weight often come from listings. The rating plate and the manufacturer's data sheet are more reliable – we ask for them specifically.
Two contacts
Collection at the seller, handover at the buyer: we need a contact, time windows and access details for both sides.
Transfer of ownership
When the machine may be collected often depends on payment. We agree the release date with you, not directly with third parties.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Is the machine already dismantled, cleaned and secured for transport – or when will it be?
  2. Who provides a forklift or crane at collection, and how heavy is the machine really?
  3. Is there lifting equipment at destination, or should we organise unloading?
  4. Who is the contact at collection and destination, and when is access possible?
  5. Do accessories such as a tool cabinet, chip conveyor or control unit belong to the shipment?

What we need from you

  • Collection and destination with country
  • Manufacturer, type and year of manufacture, if known
  • Dimensions and weight – ideally with a photo of the rating plate
  • Release date for collection

Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
  • Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
  • One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site

Good to know

It is easiest when seller and buyer agree in advance who dismantles and sets up the machine. We collect it ready for transport from the seller and deliver it safely to the buyer.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You send route, date and machine details using the form below – anything unknown can stay open.

  2. 02

    Review

We compare listing data with the rating plate or data sheet, clarify the loading situation at both sites and the earliest possible collection date.

  3. 03

    Quote

You receive a quote with the agreed scope – on request including loading and crane organisation.

  4. 04

    Execution

Collection from the seller after release, transport and handover to the buyer – on request with organised loading and unloading.

Questions and answers: Used machinery transport

What needs to be done before a used machine is collected?

The machine should be disconnected, drained and secured. This is usually done by a specialist service on behalf of seller or buyer – we schedule collection directly around their completion.

Are the dimensions and weight from the listing enough for a quote?

For a first estimate, yes; for reliable planning, usually not. A photo of the rating plate or the manufacturer's data sheet prevents a different vehicle or a crane becoming necessary on collection day.

Who agrees the collection date with the seller?

We decide that with you. Often you give us the seller's contact and we agree time window and access directly – collection only happens once you have confirmed the release.
