Relocation: individual machines to the new plant

When a plant moves or a line is relocated, machines move in a defined order. We take care of transporting the dismantled and secured machines – dismantling and installation are organised by your project team with the manufacturer's or your own service.

What matters

Sequence
Your moving plan defines which machine must be at the new site when. We plan the transports along that sequence.
Interface with dismantling
There should be as little time as possible between dismantling and collection. We align collection with your dismantling team's completion date.
Two halls, two situations
At the old site the lifting equipment is often already removed, at the new site not yet installed. Organised crane work helps here.
Short or long distance
Whether 5 or 500 kilometres: preparing the machine is the same. The route determines the vehicle and the plan.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Which machines are moving, and in which order are they needed at the new site?
  2. Who dismantles and installs, and when does the dismantling team report a machine as ready for transport?
  3. Are the overhead crane or forklifts still available at the old site and already available at the new one?
  4. Is there interim storage, or does each machine go directly to its new place?
  5. What are access, hall doors and floor load capacity like at the new site?

What we need from you

  • List of machines with dimensions and weight
  • Old and new address
  • Moving schedule
  • Contact in your project team

Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
  • Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
  • One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site

Good to know

Plan the transport alongside dismantling and set-up by your team or the manufacturer. We align our dates closely with that schedule.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You send route, date and machine details using the form below – anything unknown can stay open.

  2. 02

    Review

We check the machine list, assign the transports to the moving plan and clarify the loading equipment at both sites.

  3. 03

    Quote

You receive a quote with the agreed scope – on request including loading and crane organisation.

  4. 04

    Execution

Collection of each machine after the dismantling team's completion report, transport and set-down at the agreed point at the new site.

Questions and answers: Relocating individual machines

How does Logisticoo support a plant relocation?

We transport the machines your project team has dismantled and secured – in the order and on the dates of your relocation plan. Dismantling and set-up are done by your team or the manufacturer.

Can machines arrive at the new site in a fixed order?

Yes, we plan the transports along your moving plan. We need the machine list with dimensions and weights and the order in which the installation team needs the machines.

What if the overhead crane at the old site has already been removed?

Then, on request, we organise suitable crane equipment for loading. This is agreed explicitly in the quote so that nobody is waiting for lifting equipment on collection day.
