Machinery transport for leasing and finance companies
When a lease ends early or as planned, the machine has to be collected from the lessee – sometimes under difficult conditions. Afterwards it goes to a dealer, a storage facility or directly to a buyer.
What matters
- Collection from the lessee
- The lessee has to grant access and hand over the machine ready for transport. That does not always go smoothly – clear agreements help.
- Recording the condition
- Photos and a short note at collection document the external condition for remarketing.
- Remarketing destination
- Whether to a dealer, storage or straight to a buyer: the destination affects date and route.
- Dismantling
- If the machine is still connected, a dismantling service is needed. We do not provide it.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Where is the machine, and is the lessee cooperative?
- Is the machine dismantled, or does a dismantling service have to be hired?
- Where does the machine go after collection?
- Should the condition be recorded with photos?
- Who is your contact for releases?
What we need from you
- Location and contact at the lessee
- Machine type, dimensions and weight
- Remarketing destination
- Release for collection
Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.

Questions and answers: Leasing and finance companies
How is the condition of a recovered leased machine recorded?
With photos and a short note at collection. This documents the visible external condition for remarketing.
What if the lessee refuses access?
Then we do not collect. You settle the surrender with the lessee; we plan a new date as soon as access and release are in place.
Can the machine go directly to a buyer?
Yes. You specify the destination – dealer, storage or buyer; date and route follow from it.
