Machinery transport for contract manufacturers and machine shops
For contract manufacturers, every machine is capacity. When a new one is bought, an old one sold or one moved, downtime should stay short. We plan the transport to fit your window between dismantling and installation.
What matters
- Short downtime
- Between removing the old machine and installing the new one there is often only a weekend. The transport has to fit exactly into it.
- Swap in the same place
- Old machine out, new machine in: if both move on one day, a joint plan for loading equipment and crane pays off.
- Tight halls
- Businesses that have grown over time often have angled halls. The way from the installation spot to the door is part of the plan.
- Many CNC types
- Milling, turning, grinding – each type of machine brings its own transport points.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Is it a new, a sold or a relocated machine?
- What window do you have between dismantling and installation?
- Will an old machine be collected and a new one delivered on the same day?
- What is the route from the installation spot to the hall door?
- Who dismantles and installs – the manufacturer or your own staff?
What we need from you
- Machine type, dimensions and weight
- Preferred time window
- Photos of hall and door
- Contact in the company
Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.
What we do for you
What we organise
- Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
- Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
- One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site
Good to know
We plan delivery so that the new machine is at the set-down point in time and your manufacturer can start aligning straight away.
How it works

Questions and answers: Contract manufacturers and machine shops
Can a machine swap happen in one day?
If dismantling, transport and delivery are well coordinated, yes. We plan collection of the old and delivery of the new machine in the same window, provided loading equipment and dates fit.
What about tight, angled halls?
Photos and measurements of the route from the installation spot to the door help. They show which loading equipment fits and whether additional lifting gear is needed.
Who levels the new machine after transport?
The manufacturer or your service. We make sure it stands at the agreed set-down point in time.
