Machines
Transporting punching and nibbling machines
CNC punching machines have a massive frame that has to absorb high forces, surrounded by large but light support tables. For transport, tables and extensions are removed and the tool turret is emptied.
What matters
- Massive frame
- C or O frames carry most of the weight. Lifting points and load distribution are based on them.
- Wide tables
- Brush or ball tables make the machine very wide in operation. Removed, the transport width shrinks considerably.
- Tools
- Punches and dies are taken out of the turret and packed separately.
- Automation
- Loading and unloading units or sorting systems are separate parts with their own dimensions.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- What frame design and weight does the machine have?
- Will tables and extensions be removed for transport?
- Have the tools been taken out?
- Are automation components included?
- Where can the machine be lifted?
What we need from you
- Manufacturer, type and weight
- Dimensions with and without tables
- Accessory and automation parts
- Lifting points and loading situation
Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.
What we do for you
What we organise
- Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
- Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
- One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site
Good to know
Once tables and automation are removed, we plan machine and peripherals together – often everything fits on one vehicle.
How it works
- 01
Request
You send route, date and machine details using the form below – anything unknown can stay open.
- 02
Review
We check the transport dimensions after removing the tables, the weight of the frame and the lifting equipment.
- 03
Quote
You receive a quote with the agreed scope – on request including loading and crane organisation.
- 04
Execution
Loading the frame at the lifting points, separate securing of tables and accessories, transport and handover.
Questions and answers: Punching machines
Why does a punching machine's transport width shrink so much?
Because the wide brush or ball tables are removed. What remains is the massive frame that carries most of the weight.
Are punches and dies transported with the machine?
Yes, but removed and packed separately. The tool turret is emptied before collection.
Is automation part of transport planning?
Yes. Loading and unloading units or sorting systems are separate parts with their own dimensions and belong in the parts list.
