Transporting packaging machines and packaging lines

Packaging machines are often modular: infeed, filler, closer, labeller, palletiser. In a line, each module is transported individually – with controls, guarding and often sensitive sensors.

What matters

Modules
We plan with the modules your project team separates. A numbered module list makes loading and installation at destination easier.
Guarding and glass
Polycarbonate or glass guards are sensitive. They are protected or packed separately.
Sensors
Light barriers, cameras and printers are secured or removed.
Hygiene
In food and pharmaceutical packaging, clean covering may be required. We clarify this in advance.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Is it a single machine or a line of several modules?
  2. Is there a numbered module list with dimensions and weights?
  3. Which sensitive parts will be removed?
  4. Are there requirements for clean covering during transport?
  5. In which order are the modules needed at destination?

What we need from you

  • Module list with dimensions and weights
  • Photos of the line
  • Covering requirements
  • Installation order at destination

Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
  • Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
  • One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site

Good to know

Number the modules of a line before collection. We transport them so that reassembly can start quickly.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You send route, date and machine details using the form below – anything unknown can stay open.

  2. 02

    Review

We check the module list, decide which modules travel together and clarify protection and covering.

  3. 03

    Quote

You receive a quote with the agreed scope – on request including loading and crane organisation.

  4. 04

    Execution

Loading modules according to the list, securing, transport and handover in the agreed order.

Questions and answers: Packaging machines

How is a packaging line recorded for transport?

Ideally with a numbered module list with dimensions and weights. It eases vehicle planning, loading and reassembly at destination.

How are glass and polycarbonate guards protected?

They are covered or packed separately. Sensitive sensors such as cameras and printers are secured or removed before collection.

Are there requirements for clean covering in food packaging?

We clarify this with you in advance. If cleanliness requirements apply, we plan the covering accordingly.

Is the machine ready for transport?

Ready for transport means: dismantled, secured and prepared for loading. We do not carry out dismantling, installation or commissioning.
