Transporting food processing machinery

Food processing machines are mostly stainless steel, thoroughly cleaned and should arrive the same way. Besides dimensions and weight, it is about protecting the surfaces and making sure no residues travel along.

What matters

Handed over cleaned
Product residues and cleaning agents are removed before collection, tanks emptied and dry.
Protecting surfaces
Polished stainless steel surfaces are covered so that straps and edge protectors leave no marks.
Different designs
Mixers, kettles, cutters, ovens and fillers have very different centres of gravity and lifting points.
Sensitive elements
Scales, dosing units and operator terminals are secured or packed separately.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Which machine is it, and how heavy is it?
  2. Is it cleaned, emptied and dry?
  3. Are there requirements for clean covering or packaging?
  4. Where are the lifting or forklift points?
  5. Do scales, dosers or terminals travel separately?

What we need from you

  • Machine type, manufacturer and weight
  • Dimensions in transport position
  • Protection and cleanliness requirements
  • Loading situation on site

Preparation: You hand the machine over ready for transport – dismantling, later installation and commissioning are done by your team or the manufacturer's service.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Transport planned around dimensions, weight and route – with the right vehicle and secure load
  • Loading, unloading and crane work organised alongside on request
  • One contact who coordinates dates with you and the people on site

Good to know

We protect stainless steel surfaces and hygiene areas during transport. Cleaning and release before and after transport are handled in your plant as usual.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You send route, date and machine details using the form below – anything unknown can stay open.

  2. 02

    Review

We check design and lifting points and clarify how surfaces are protected when securing the load.

  3. 03

    Quote

You receive a quote with the agreed scope – on request including loading and crane organisation.

  4. 04

    Execution

Loading, securing with surface protection, transport and handover at destination.

Questions and answers: Food processing machinery

Does the machine arrive as clean as it was collected?

We protect the surfaces when securing and cover them. Hygienic cleaning and release before and after transport remain with the operator.

Do straps leave marks on stainless steel?

Without protection they can. That is why polished surfaces are secured with edge protectors and covers.

Do tanks have to be completely empty?

Yes. Product residues and cleaning agents are removed before collection, tanks emptied and dried.
